In this podcast, I interviewed my aunt from Saskatchewan who had the opportunity to study for a semester in Scotland through the Study abroad program through her University when she was studying. There are many factors to consider when pursuing to study abroad such as housing, transportation, food, entertainment, and so much more. My aunt, who I am interviewing, is going to help give a little bit of insight into how she navigated these challenges and what she did with her time there. Costs now can range anywhere from $15,00 to $22,00 with Western Europe being a high-traffic area attracting many students year after year. There are also two ways to apply to study abroad, by directly enrolling or by a third-party enrollment service, much like what TRU offers through ISEP. Many benefits come through a third-party provider like planned excursions, tutoring, housing, and tuition often resembling that of your home university you apply through.
